GPS Workbench 4.5 supports all Fastrax GPS receivers
New Fastrax GPS Workbench 4.5 supports all Fastrax GPS receivers that are configured to output NMEA protocol.
IMPORTANT: GPS Workbench 4.5 setup will NOT attempt remove or upgrade any GPS Workbench versions prior to version 4.5. If you do not use the earlier versions and have any of them installed, it is recommended that you remove the earlier versions manually using Control Panel.
GPS Workbench 4.5 is a major improvement to previous version and contains support for multi-GNSS receivers (GPS and Glonass), SBAS and QZSS.

Installation requirements
- Installing GPS workbench 4.5 requires that you have Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 runtime installed. GPS Workbench 4.5 setup will attempt to download and install this package for you automatically.So normally you do not have to take any special actions, but if you have any problems, you can download the package manually from Microsoft>>Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable
- Note also, that if you wish to save GPS Workbench 4.5 setup to USB stick or CD and run the setup without active Internet connection, you need also to include vcredist_x86.exe, that is available from Microsoft using the link. Run Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (vcredist_x86.exe )setup before running GPS Workbench setup. With active Internet connection, you do not need to do anything special.
- To use Fastrax Evalution Kit with GPS Workbench 4.5, you also need Fastrax USB drivers that are available below.
Supported operating systems
GPS Workbench 4.5 has been tested under following operating systems:
- Windows XP (x86) with Service Pack 3
- Windows Vista (x86) with Service Pack 2
- Windows 7 (x86 and x64) with Service Pack 1
Important: GPS Workbench is NOT supported in 64-bit versions of Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 R2 and Windows XP.

These drivers are compatible with Fastax Mini Evaluation Kit as well as Track&Trace Platform.
