Welcome to iSuite InfoKit

iSuiteTM InfoKit provides you with relevant information that you need to know about iTraxTM  Evaluation Kit and iSuiteTM 3 Software products. Also selected  documents from iSuiteTM 3 Software Development Kit are available.

NOTE: This documentation package is a subset of the full iSuite 3 SDK documentation. Some links in this package may be unavailable.

What's New

iSuite 3 now comes with support for two different platforms and Development Kits.

iSuite 3 Software Development Kit is available for all iTrax03 family of receivers including iTrax03/8, iTrax03/16, iTrax03-02 and iTrax03-S MP and also supports receives based on Sony CXD2985 GPS baseband chip.

Protocol Documentation

Documentation of communication protocols used in all iSuite 3 Based GPS receivers.

Logging system

All iSuite 3 based receivers with flash memory include a configurable navigation point logging system . Details on how to configure this system can be found the log system documentation. There is also available a tool that can be used to manage stored data.

Parameters

All iSuite 3 based receivers are  configurable through the iSuite parameter system. Details on parameters, their values and how to change them can be found in the parameters system documentation

Debugging leds

The iTrax Evaluation Kit has 8 internal led indicators that can be used for investigating CPU loads, interrupt timing and TX/RX activity. More details on these leds can be found from the GPIO documentation

Datums

The iSuite 3 firmware uses the WGS 84 coordinate system as default. However, it is possible to also calculate and output position fix coordinates in several different local datums. More information on this can be found from the Datums document.

Archiving

When you are using receivers with the standard iSuite 3 firmware together with the GPS Workbench evaluation software it is possible to store the incoming binary data to an archive for later analyses or post processing. All messages will be stored into separate files which. More details on archiving can be found from the HOS_Archiving document.
